Throughout its nearly 40 years’ existence HAUS has been deeply involved in public administration reform projects carried out in Finland both at central and local levels. The institute has active contacts with all Finnish ministries, various central and local state organisations as well as a number of municipalities.

Some of the latest projects have dealt with the reform of central state organs, performance management and performance based budgeting, decentralisation, development of organisational structures and strategic management as well as adjustment of the administration to the European Union.

Furthermore HAUS offers a wide range of expert services in designing and conducting evaluation projects on public policies, reforms and organisational performance.
